Wholesale sunglasses: what to check before you order
Short answer: Before ordering wholesale sunglasses, check the UV protection, the frame and lens materials, the minimum order per colour and per order, how many colours you can mix, whether your logo can be added, the packing, the lead time and the payment terms. Ask for all of them in writing in the quotation.

The checklist
- UV protection. Ask what UV rating the lenses carry (labels such as UV400 are common) and how it is stated on the product.
- Frame material. Plastic, TR90 or metal behave differently in weight, flexibility and price.
- Lens material and tint. Ask for the lens material and whether the tint is even and scratch-resistant.
- Minimum order per colour and per order. Some suppliers set one minimum for the whole order, others per model. Ours is 12 pieces per colour and 500 pieces for the whole order, in any mix of models and colours.
- Colour mix. Check that you can mix colours inside a model, because customers choose between colours.
- Your logo. Ask where the logo goes (lens, temple) and the minimum for logo printing. With us it is 100 pieces of a model, and a proof is sent before printing.
- Packing. Ask how pairs are packed and whether cases or cloths are included.
- Lead time. Ask how long production and delivery take, and whether the date is written in the quotation.
- Payment terms and who the supplier is. Ask whether you are buying from the manufacturer. Salvador sunglasses are made in our own factory by Prakaash Eyewear Pvt. Ltd., in business since 1978.
How to ask
Send the supplier a list of the models and colours you want, your quantity, whether you want your logo, and your country. A good supplier replies with prices for your quantity, the lead time and the terms. You can do this on our wholesale sunglasses page.
